We've got an exclusive DVD clip from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which drops on DVD and Blu-ray disc today from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
Hugh Jackman returns as the iconic character in an epic adventure that pits Wolverine and all mutants against powerful forces determined to eliminate them.
The two-disc Blu-ray offers fans the studio's first-ever release featuring "Live Lookup," an interactive BD-Live technology gives fans access to up-to-date filmographies and information related to the film via IMDB.
Both the Blu-ray and Special Edition DVD are loaded with bonus material, including commentary by director Gavin Hood and producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Ralph Winter; a conversation with Wolverine creators Stan Lee and Len Wein; deleted and alternate scenes; behind-the-scenes featurettes; and more.

Wouldn't pay to see this film in a theater, won't pay to buy it for the home collection.
Might go looking around though to see if there's something pulled from the DVD/BR to explain why this movie was so terrible.

I will never understand why someone who obviously hates the movie feels the need to go to the DVD and Blu-ray announcement just to say they won't buy it.
I hated Mall Cop, but I didn't look for DVD announcements to say I had no intention of buying it.

I will never understand why somehow who obviously loves the movie feels the need to go to the DVD and Blu-ray announcement just to say that they will buy it.
Funny how that works when everybody is allowed to voice their opinion.

I really wanted this film to be great. I was anticipating it more than any other film for 2 years! And Gavin Hood, who did a terrible job directing a story that should have been about complexity of human nature and about Wolverine's pain upon given adamantium, let me down. So did the terrible writers and those who chose them in crafting such a cliche story. In the final analysis, the producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Hugh Jackman (who seems a genuinely intelligent and kind man) let me down in appealing to the lowest common denominator.
This was so bad that even J.J. Abrams' Star Trek was more enjoyable. That bad!

I might like the movie but I will not watch it. The destroyed the X men when they in their infinite wisdom kill off their Professor Cyclops and Jean Summers.
I have been a fan from the first book.

Dude, Jean has died like 50 times throughout the books. Prof "died" at least once (it wasn't actually him, but someone pretending), and Slim...well slim is kind of a dick.
You can't watch these movies as an adaptation, but rather as separate pieces inspired by the originals. If you really need to justify it, pretend there is a big WHAT IF.... on the title screen.
