Who could not like this show? It was perfect...minus college student buffy

Me I guess. I never could get into the show. Although, I love the red head. The chick that's on how I met your mother. She's fine.

Oh how I miss Buffy! Of course, I have all the dvds so the show isn't really *gone*...too bad it couldn't go several more seasons though.

There is a specific moment at the end of the first half of the season six finale that was a real thrill. Dark Willow had just beat down Buffy and said "No one can stop me now!" Then she's suddenly struck by some kind of magical force that knocks her across the room and in steps Giles, who had been absent for most of the season, and he deadpans, "I'd like to test that theory." It was such an awesome moment.

AGGH! Two of those scenes made me cringe. The Xander losing his eye scene and the skinning of Tara's killer. Xander losing his eye was the first Buffy scene to ever make me shudder. My mother's favourite scene and my favourite was Walk Through the Fire.

My mother passed away in late 2006 but even just before she died she always loved the Buffy musical.

Buffy was probably my favorite show of all time!

The only season I didn't care for much was season 4. Never cared for the whole initiative stuff and I hated Riley.

You left out two of my favorite moments
1-When Buffy lays down the rules to the Watcher's council and forces them to reinstate Giles.
2-When she smashes Warrens "balls". Say goodnight Bitch!

Fire bad. Tree pretty. Beer foamy. Buffy good. Miss Buffy.

blben got it right that was the single best of the seasons endings the Dark Willow stories.

What about the climax of the Season 3 opener "Anne" with the twin blade ass kicking, and later with the "Ghandi" line.

When Spike leans over the cross, awhen he's back from Africa. What he says, and the strength of the moment, is what finally convinces Buffy that Spike's love for her is true, even though Spike as a person is flawed. She ceases to despise him from that point on.

You know, a truly kick as moment that is totally and shamefully overlooked is Season 2 finale, when her and Angelus are fighting and he has her down, and he gives that little speech about being along, goes to stab her, and she stops the blade with the palms of her hand jumps up and proceeds to kick the crap out of Angelus.

Totally and Shamefully overlooked. Then again, there were tons of kick ass scenes overlooked, but that one stood out for me most of all.

best one was when they could,nt talk and therefore could,nt scream when the monsters came a calling I think it was an emmy wining episode scared me for a while whenever I thought about

What about the episode titled, "Hush?" Now that was an epic episode.

I agree with the Dark/Evil Willow ones, but what about Willow's magic giving Buffy the power to fight Adam? That was pretty badass.

1. When Buffy's scream finally broke the silence imposed by The Gentlemen--and destroyed them--in "Hush".

2. In "Primeval", when the Scoobs magically enjoined the essence of Slayer power, and a beaten-down Buffy turned into a Sumerian-spouting, Adam-gutting whirlwind.

My favorite series ever......and I'm a 62 year old straight male.

OK, myhhandle has got me beat by a year, but this is also my all time favorite tv series.
And I get misty everytime I see her dive from the tower to her death with her words to Dawn
as a voice-over...(misty now just thinking about it).

When she comes home to find her mom dead just tears me up.

What about when Angel is restored and Buffy has to kill him anyway. Oh man! Along with when Angelus killed Jenny, that scene made me realize just how good this Joss Whedon guy was and from then on, nobody was safe...

What happened to the Buffy and Faith showdown!? I didn't know which side to pick, the scene was filled with so much anticipation for the both of them. I was mad and sadened by Buffy's choice in the end.

TV is no longer this damn good!

I would have added the "Spike Stands Up" scene from the end of 'I Only Have Eyes For You.'

Definitely one of the best HOLY HELL NO WAY scenes of the entire series.

I'm not sure if this would be considered more of a "hell no!" scene than a "hell yeah!," but I'm going with the standalone ep., The Wish, from season 3.

Personally, I love 'alternate reality' episodes from series and this was one of the best. From Angel saving Buffy (and getting staked in the process) to Oz pushing Willow onto that jagged piece of wood, this episode had everything.

Who didn't enjoy watching the Scooby Gang turn on each other...all to be put back to normal at the end of the day. : ) Great ep.

No one ever mentions the scene near the end of Prophecy Girl after Xander and Angel revive Buffy. Buff is pumped for a fight and they play the Buffy theme song during the march back to Sunnydale High. I think it was the only time the theme was played outside the credits.

Let's not forget Buffy rising from the dead at the start of Season 6.

OK, I had to chip in again. Tara's death still upsets me.

When Buffy revealed that she was ripped from heaven was deep.

Also when that thing was eating Willow alive in that cave was pretty gross.

Personal fav for me was the "Mirror Mirror" episodes. Specificly when vampire Willow tries to make out with goody two shows Willow.
Oh yeah gotta love a chic in leather.

"So you're a watcher huh? Watch this." Xander and Willow offing Cordelia was a big one for me. Also, Caleb getting sliced in half was pretty cool as well.

No one has mentioned Restless. The end of Season 4 dream episode that foretold much of the end of the series? Amazing writing, breath-taking beauty...That episode has it all.

I beleive he best moment on buffy was in Showtime ''Two men enter one man leaves'' Thunderdome lol. They just don't make tv like that anymore. (with the exception of Supernatural)
