We've got a first look at Leonard Nimoy's return to Fox's Fringe, and you can get a sneak peek after the jump.
Nimoy, who again plays the mysterious William Bell, makes his first appearance in the show's second season in the upcoming fourth episode, "Momentum Deferred."
You can also view the promo below and a behind-the-scenes video here.
Here's how Fox describes the episode:
Recuperating from the traumatic and alarming meeting with Massive Dynamic founder William Bell (guest star Nimoy), Agent Dunham consumes a powerful "fringe" concoction that Dr. Bishop prescribes to stimulate her memory. Meanwhile, the Fringe Division investigates a series of robbery cases in New York, Boston and Chicago that are tied to shape-shifting. As clues are tracked and memories are jogged, another woman experimented on by Dr. Bishop is introduced and a flashback reveals more about Olivia's alternate-reality encounter in the "Momentum Deferred" episode of FRINGE airing Thursday, Oct. 8 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FR-204) (TV-14 L, V)

It's a great show. Unfortunately they need to move it. It's getting beat in the ratings on Thursdays.

The show is in danger of being cancelled according to this site. Off beat shows, SCIFI shows etc. will have a difficult time staying on the broadcast channels because of their limited audience pool. Fringe could do well on a cable channel without any concern of being cancelled. Note the numbers for Dollhouse on Friday as being a dead show, yet Stargate Universe premiered at only two hundred thousands more and is being declared a wonderful success, even with Universe's cost per episode being double that of Dollhouse. I will watch Fringe as long as it is on the air, but wonder how long that will be for?

It was another stupid move by Fox to place the show on Thursday (across from Supernatural, give me a break..)

They better not cancel. At least I hope not. I particular like the growth of Joshua Jackson's Peter Bishop character. He handles the physical violence well and is stepping into a de facto leadership role while Olivia recovers. And the Walter character becoming more familiar and comfortable with his surroundings and expressing his odd perspective and approach adds a great comedic relief to a show that could easily be too serious. This is probably my favorite show presently on TV.
