Chuck fans rejoice, NBC may want 6 MORE episodes

\<i\>Chuck\<\/i\> fans rejoice, NBC may want 6 MORE episodes
The rumors get better and better for Chuck fans. First came word that NBC might start airing episodes this fall rather than next March (although October seems out the window at this point). Now the network supposedly wants to increase the number of Chuck episodes it has on order from 13 to 19.
According to TheWrap, two "industry insiders familiar with the situation" tipped them off to NBC's plans. They also speculated that Chuck might return sooner than March, although they put the early arrival in January rather than the fall.

NBC isn't saying anything official, but since all the rumors about the show have been positive lately, it's definitely a good sign for Chuck's vocal supporters.

The more Chuck, the better. I am watching less television than I have in years, it will be good to have a show that is well written, clever, and fun!

I agree, the more Chuck the better. I know this is pushing it but if they are asking for 6 more, why not just do a full season order of 22, come on I will even watch the commercials.

Chuck is one of the best shows and NBC needs to step up and restore my faith after the Leno fiasco.

Chuck and the NHL are the only reasons for NBC's continued existence. Bring back the Chuck!

Chuck is the only show on NBC that I still watch. It's quite sad that it had to come to this. Heroes is awful, and they bounced Southland for Leno at 10, which is crazy. I just hope they treat Chuck well this season.

Chuck season 2 drops on DVD in January, so it seems appropriate for season 3 to begin on or near that date.

Season 2 DVD drops January 5th, included in the release are 3-D glasses to view the 3-D episode "Chuck VS the Third Dimension". Is that cool or what!

wohoo! i love chuck and the more episodes and the sooner i get new episodes the better. they should just cancel mercy or trauma now and show chuck!

By IronOre at 10:29 AM ON 10/29/09

Nice. Now NBC just needs to cancel Leno and bring back "Life."

Is Jordana Brewster coming back? That's all I want to know!

By pictishmac at 12:39 PM ON 10/29/09

This lousy piece of crap is still on television?

By Valendur at 4:49 PM ON 10/29/09

Heroes can't decide what it is. Chuck is an awesome show and it pains me to see it in limbo. I say bring back chuck and the sooner the better. It would be so awesome if Chevy and Scott became regulars too.

By more chuck at 5:35 PM ON 10/29/09

More Chuck, why doesn't NBC chuck Leno and just do a 1 hour block of Chuck!

By Camulus at 5:52 PM ON 10/29/09

I wonder if the call for 6 more eps has anything to do with NBC's current shows failing miserably in the ratings and them looking to put something on that has at least a following???

By wilcoy at 11:15 AM ON 10/30/09

I'm glad to hear Chuck is returning sooner rather than later and with more episodes to boot. I like the quirky sci-fi comedy sitcom and all the characters at 'Big Box'.Actually I just want to see more Yvonne Strzechowski cast as superspy Sarah Walker oohwowwow...
