Does FlashForward's scientist hold the secret? (video)
In a new behind-the-scenes featurette for ABC's FlashForward, star Jack Davenport reveals a few secrets about his mysterious character, Lloyd Simcoe. "He will have a fairly central role to play in terms of trying to work out what actually happened," Davenport says.
Simcoe, as you may know, is the only character carried over from Robert J. Sawyer's novel, which inspired the TV show. He's a scientist who may or may not know the secret behind the flash-forwards. And he has a future relationship with the very married Olivia Benford, played by Sonya Walger.
FlashForward airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

I think he is the man in the stadium. Look at his clothes in the first episode and compare to what "suspect zero" was wearing...BTW, all episodes are online at abc.com

The woman in the sinking bus shouting in hungarian. I tought my wife shouting to me while i watched the episode (yes, we're hungarians, and yes its a country in europe). I can't imagine how weird is sound to you american people.

Simcoe is unlikely to be Mr Stadium:
1. He's too tall: Mr Stadium is about 5'10 (IIRC), and Simcoe's over 6'
2. The stadium was across the country - with no air travel, probably no train travel, car travel would have been difficult at best (cleaning up crashes, roadblocks, security checkpoints, etc).
Simon (Mr Monaghan) is a much more likely candidate.
BTW, why don't they show some kind of warning "some images may be disturbing" before the episode? Last week showed planes and cars crashing and buses driving into lakes - difficult images to watch at best, even 8 years after 9/11...

Love Jack Davenport! If you haven't seen the Brit comedy, Coupling, find it and watch it. Ensemble cast, including Davenport--very funny. (I think I'll just forget about him in Swingtown LOL)
