Awesome list, I remember all of these from when I was a kid. Ghostbusters clearly wins the title :)

wow! I remember all of those! Some people think I'm crazy when I mention Fruit Brute or Yummy Mummy. I also have some of those Fruity Freakies toys!

I want the green slime box! I could frame it and put it up in my kitchen, it would be perfect. I don't remember any of these, we got oatmeal or nothing (then we walked 5 miles in the snow to school of course).

Spooky cereal. I remember when Hi-C had ecto Cooler. It was a lime punch (that tasted really good) that they passed off as ectoplasm you could drink. It had Slimer from the Real Ghostbusters on the box drink. They stopped selling it about ten years ago. I wish they'd sell it again. I loved the novelty of it and it actually tasted great. For a little while they resold it as a new name. Something bland like Lime Aid but it didn't sell. I guess it's not as fun as with a green ghost on the cover and the impression that you're drinking ghost slime. I miss that stuff.

Boo Berry
Franken Berry
Fruit Buit
and Count Chocula are all by the same people. They occasionally go back on the market. Count Chocula has never been taken off store shelves at all but his brethren have. Funny thing is there was a spoof about these cereals on Robot Chicken just last night with The Creature from the Black Lagoon trying to sell his own version and failing.

@ Mandy

Actually they still make the Ecto Cooler flavor. Albeit under a more normal name. (I just can't recall right now). My co-worker actually proved this to me by an ID number on the old Ecto-cooler box matching the newer box. (sorry I don't have the new name)

Yep, all those memories of barfing up these cereals as a child come rushing back.

Halloween Crunch and Green Slime made Green Eggs and Ham look positively delicious.

Sam I am.

A lot of these I never knew existed. I knew about count chocula of course, boo berry, franken berry, lucky charms, chex. It's funy how they will make a temporary cereal to take advantage of what's popular. I wonder how long these things lasted before they moved on to the next one ? I mean did they do Monsters Inc. cereal ?

@Mandy

The ecto cooler was the best! Thanks for brining back that childhood memory. I too miss it and the cartoon.

They forgot BATMAN (89) with Michael Keaton. I still have the coin bank that came with it (I was 10 at the time).
