New trailer, casting news for Toy Story 3!
The new trailer has debuted for the third installment in Disney/Pixar's beloved Toy Story franchise, featuring Woody, Buzz and the gang.
In the 3-D movie, Andy is all grown up and about to go to college, leaving the fate of his toy friends in question.
Earlier, director Lee Unkrich announced the casting of Kristen Schaal, who voices a new character (Barbie, maybe?). Blake Clark takes over the voice for Slinky for Jim Varney, who died in 2000.
They are joining Toy Story regulars Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, John Morris, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Jodi Benson, Ned Beatty, Michael Keaton, Timothy Dalton, Jeff Garlin, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopi Goldberg. Toy Story 3 opens June 18, 2010.

Some of their movies are not as good as others, but Pixar has not made a bad movie yet! I was blown away at how good TS2 was, and I'm really looking forward to this. The trailer looks like they put the same thought into it as with all the others.

I'm not sure who Kristen Schaal is voicing, but if Jodi Benson (she of Little Mermaid fame) is involved again, its probably not Barbie. Jodi provided the voice of Barbie in Toy Story 2 and will hopefully be reprising the role. The rest of the newcomers all sound like fun, though.

I'm still waitting for The Incredibles 2. As it is, I wouldn't mind seeing some classic stories from books being made by Pixar. As I earlier commented in the article about Cars 2, I think Pixar is the right studio to adapt Monkey: A Journey To The West for kids.
