Most of those look like they were pulled from some pet costume manufacturer rather than creative costumes made by dedicated scifi fans.

Some of those are nifty, but I wouldn't try to inflict a costume on my pets... mostly because I don't want to die.
My dog might forgive me (if I gave her enough doggie treats), but the cats would kill me in my sleep. Then, they'd use some super-secret cat ritual to raise me from the dead, so they could kill me some more.
