This isn't exactly new, but we love it so much we're going to share it with you: a musical homage to science featuring snippets of wonderful sciency quotes from legendary figures such as Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman and others.
It's called "We Are All Connected" and was made by sampling Sagan's famous TV series Cosmos, The History Channel's Universe series, physicist Feynman's 1983 interviews, Neil deGrasse Tyson's cosmic sermon and "science guy" Bill Nye's Eyes of Nye series, plus added visuals from The Elegant Universe (Nova), Stephen Hawking's Universe, Cosmos, Powers of 10 and more.
The creators say the video is "a tribute to great minds of science, intended to spread scientific knowledge and philosophy through the medium of music."
The Symphony of Science is a musical project by John Boswell.

Boswell has done an number of these musical tributes. For my money I prefer this one with Sagan and Stephan Hawking titled "A Glorious Dawn".

Yep, "A Glorious Dawn" is the best of the two and both are available to download for free on the Symphony of Science website. My favorite part is that they autotuned Stephen Hawkings computerized voice. Genius!

I, too, prefer "A Glorious Dawn" and was actually singing it earlier today. It's fantastic. :)

We are all connected was much more entertaining. Was amusing too :)

Thank you for posting the "Glorious Dawn" link. Very odd, trippy, yet ever so cool.
