New Moon eclipses Twilight, but is fading
The Twilight Saga: New Moon officially eclipsed its predecessor, Twilight, at the box office over the Thanksgiving weekend, raising its total domestic gross to $230.7 million after just 10 days of release, BoxOfficeMojo reported.
Twilight, by contrast, grossed $192.8 million domestically over its complete run.
The news wasn't all good for New Moon: As expected, its audience dropped a whopping 70 percent from its record-setting opening weekend, but it nevertheless took in enough money from fans to top the weekend box office.
2012 remained in third place but was fading fast in its third weekend of release, with a total of $138.8 million.
The Road, meanwhile, opened in limited release in only 111 theaters, taking in a total of $2 million, a respectable tally given its small release. It goes wider soon.

I saw The Road over the weekend.
Fantastic. Excellent. Brilliant. A great adaptation of a great novel.
But not a science fiction film. Not even remotely close. Anybody that thinks it is a science fiction movie needs to curb themselves immediately.

OMG, like Brandy and I are suh tired. We saw "New Moon" about 15 times over the weekend and each and everytime, like, Eddie gets more cuter and cuter. *SIGH* Eddiiiieeee. But like wot's up with the forty year old moms and stuff squealing everytime like Taylor or Bobby took their shirt off? I mean like haaalloooo you're, like, a mom, 'K? I swear I saw someone who was, like, my Home Ec teacher rub one out in the row behind us. Like Eeewww! And to all you haters who came because your girlfriend "made" you see this awesome movie and you gotta rag about it in the theater. Like STFU, 'k? Like u're so jealous of my Bobby you wish you could look like him. And to my Bobby, Holllaaaaa! OMG!

This movie was amazing the fight scenes where good as well but i mean like common there not real there just actors....acting its not like one day youll run into Edward or Jacob so OMG get over it and stop being so ditsy no one likes that its just annoying

70% drop off? I guess all of the teenage girls are done seeing it and will have to wait for DVD to see it another 40 times. Could we please have Blade make a cameo in the next movie?
