The definition of everyone is "every person". All it takes is for one, i.e. one person, to disagree to disprove the conjecture.
If one person disagrees with the statement "(Johnny Depp) he's the sexiest man alive." then the conjecture "Everyone thinks he's the sexiest man alive" is proven false because not every person thinks so.
Unless you have some conclusive empirical evidence that demonstrates Michelle's comment was not constructed by a person, then Michelle has indeed proven the SCI FI Wire Staff's conjecture false.
