If you're a fan of the Resident Evil movies or games, or just a fan of smokin' hot action babe Milla Jovovich, you'll love her Twitter account from the set of the upcoming fourth installment, Resident Evil: Afterlife, in which she seems incapable of keeping a secret (and we love her for that).
Jovovich, who returns as Alice, has been tweeting directly from the movie's Toronto set for weeks now, revealing lots of juicy tidbits about the otherwise secret production, including stuff about her co-stars Ali Larter (returning as Claire Redfield), Wentworth Miller (as Claire's brother, Chris) and the Big Bad of the piece, Shawn Roberts (as Wesker).
Jovovich also tweets tantalizingly oblique references to possible returning characters—Sienna Guillory's Jill Valentine?—locations—Tokyo?—and story elements, such as the climactic big fight among Alice, Claire, Chris and Wesker, a scene drawn directly from the video game Resident Evil 5, according to her tweets.
Here are some examples. Resident Evil: Afterlife, which is being shot in 3-D, opens in the fall of 2010.
♦The fight is Alice, Claire and Chris Redfield against super powerful Wesker. The moves r taken directly from RE5, a homage to the fans.
♦Jill valentine, undead dogs, tokyo... Do u really think I can give all that away?
♦It looks much more believable now. And I can stop thinking about it. Phew! Also, kasey is NOT the new Jill. Sienna is the ONLY Jill!
♦Valentine MAY b back...
♦But I'm so happy we're bringing characters back now. It really adds a new dimension to the series.
♦i feel like this is really gonna b the best RE yet and if u all love, we'll get to continue the series!
♦just finished an incredible shot! real trailer moment! me running, semi's blazing, glass exploding in front of me, walls exploding behind me
♦have been talking to my friend maynard j. Keenan to potentially do a song 4 the soundtrack. http://myloc.me/1teq5

I hope she doesn't get in trouble for that and instead it's actually authorized publicity.

Why did they reject Romero's Resident Evil script? It would have been so much better.
PWS Anderson isn't a director, he's a butcher.

IIRC, she said in one of her tweets that it was suggested she do it. I *think* she said the Twitter account was set up for the very purpose - so, yeah, authorised publicity.

This is not as bad as what they put in today's movie trailers, where they spoil all the jokes and scary scenes. Everything she is saying was seen in the other 3 movies. She is only helping promote and making fans interested.
