Twilight author reveals alternate New Moon ending
Stephenie Meyer appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show Friday, exactly one week before the latest film based on the Twilight franchise hits theaters, and revealed that "there was a different ending to New Moon originally."
"It was a much quieter book," Meyer told the talk-show host. "It was very much all in Bella's head."
The reason Meyer decided to change her novels's ending? Her mother, who advised the author that "maybe a little more action at the end would be a good idea."
And so Meyer revised the novel, and now "that whole scene at the end, that's kind of my favorite part now, is there because my mom told me it would be better that way."

Spoiler alert: The alternate ending revealed that they truly have unique powers that each posses using the power of the Zoids. Yes, you heard right Zoids in New Moon movie. I know. It is like Power Rangers all over again. Action pack for sure!

The alternative ending is Blade shows up and slaughters Edward while Jacob gets taken to an animal shelter for his shots.

Stephanie Meyers is to be congratulated on her success. Seriously. Yes the writing is accessible and trite. Yes the movies cater to glossy eyed tween girls and all the hype are just annoying anyone who can see it for what it is. But as an author where it's practically next to impossible to get published, she's accomplished much. This fad will fade but give due where its at. People--Twi-hards--enjoy it and its harmless at best.

The alternate ending is the Gecko Brothers show up and invite all the "SPARKLIES" and all the "CGI Dogs" to enjoy an all night party until dawn at the Titty Twister.

That was some bad advise from mom. She should have advised her to take each and every page of the book and put it through the shredder.

What was the point of her mentioning the Volturi in the first book if she didn't actually intend to introduce them in the second? Just as she mentioned the "Children of the Moon" in the last book even though as far as we know there will not be any more sequels to Twilight to deal with them. Thank goodness her mom convinced her to change the story, because I don't think the franchise would have been nearly as compelling without those changes. One thing about Stephenie Meyer: she's not very good at weaving a mystery.

Stephanie Meyer is the absolute worst author in history. I think sh beat out JK Rowling. Her writing is the worst kind of popular tripe, her methods are sloppy, and her conclusions are HIGHLY questionable. She has emasculated and ruind the vampire mythos. She should be ashamed, ASHAMED, to have written such fecal matter.
