Most John Barrowman fans know he's a singer / dancer / stage actor. He was doing plays long before he was captain Jack. There are ample youtube videos of him singing and dancing.
He's even a nazi in Mel Brooks' The Producers movie.

Ah, the unstoppable Barrowman. John is such a lovely guy. Think those are the same shiny trousers he wore when I saw him in concert a few months ago. It was truly the gayest night of my entire life. I ran out of irony within the first few minutes, and that was before we got to the showtunes. He puts on a great show, make no mistake - just not my cup of tea...
