11 crazy sci-fi Bohemian Rhapsody parodies

11 crazy sci-fi Bohemian Rhapsody parodies
Can a LEGO Luke Skywalker outrock Freddie Mercury?

We got a kick out of watching The Muppets sing Bohemian Rhapsody again and again as much as anybody, but after a while we needed something a bit more ... well ... sci-fi. Luckily, there are enough video artists mashing up Queen with Star Trek, Star Wars, Lost and much more to keep us headbanging all day.

Check out 11 of the wildest below.

Lost

When the final episode of Lost airs next year, we'd better not learn that "nothing really matters."

Star Trek

"Look up to the skies and see"—all four TV Treks rolled into one.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

"Is this just fantasy?" If you hear Skeletor start to sing—you bet it is!

Klingons

Sang the Klingons to the redshirts, "We will not let you go!"

Gaming

If you find yourself in the middle of a mashup of clips from Elder Scrolls, Fallout 3, Little Big Planet and other games, you can't win unless you "just killed a man."

Star Wars

When Luke Skywalker sings "I'm just a poor boy," you believe him—even if he's just a LEGO.

Lexx

Freddie Mercury might not have needed "no sympathy"—but Stanley Tweedle sure did.

Star Trek: The Animated Series

If anyone was "easy come, easy go," it was Capt. Kirk as played by William Shatner ... even as a cartoon.

Jericho

Sometimes when you "look up to the skies," all you can see is a mushroom cloud.

Grade-Z sci-fi flicks

Those old sci-fi flicks were "very, very frightening" even before getting mashed up to a Queen tune.

Spider-Man

If anybody was "just a poor boy from a poor family," it was Peter Parker—until that radioactive spider, that is.

You're missing the Muppets version which would actually make this list worth while.

I agree. This list is pretty much pointless.

I expected clips from youtube.

The Muppets are by far the best I've seen, to date.

I thought the Klingon one was quite good.

Good staff all and, of course, Bohemian Rhapsody is one of Queen's best ever tracks so that makes these all epic wins.

I believe only one of these is actually a parody.

HOLY CRAP! I WAS THE ONE THAT MADE THE JERICHO ONE! Thanks Scifi Wire!

Where is the Mega Man sprite parody? By far one of the best after the Muppets version....

Ahem! 1. TOS 2. TNG 3. DS9 4. Voyager 5. Enterprise. That would be all 5 TV treks. And you call yourselves sci-fi fans.
