That famous (or infamous) Star Wars Holiday Special? If you've seen it, you know that ... well ... there wasn't that much special about it. The best place to find something truly special about Star Wars at holiday time is in the Christmas cards sent out by Lucasfilm and its subsidiaries each year to employees and a select group of extremely lucky business contacts.
We've managed to track down 34 of them, but let us know if you find any we've missed, and we'll add them to the gallery.
Happy holidays!
Editor's Note: After harvesting these cards from multiple sources, we've been alerted to the fact that much of that imagery had spread online from a single original source—Pete Vilmur's wonderful insider tour of 30 Years of Star Wars Holiday Cards from Lucasfilm, a piece that deserves your attention. Check it out now!

favs were the Death Star globe ( I mean, really, they should make death star xmas globes, unless I missed them) and the Jar-Jar stuck to pole is priceless. Wish he'd done that in the movie!

Hallmark makes a couple of Death Star Christmas ornaments, along with many other Star Wars related pieces. They release a few different pieces every year, but they don't usually keep them for more than a couple years.

Hands down the take on the famous ‘Nighthawks’ painting was the best… and the most creative (even though it isn't even an original idea per se) given the recent ruin of Star Wars thanks to Lucas.
