Edward was trying to fight off on of the Voltaires lol or whatever they are called cause the wanted to kill Bella, but this uber strong Vamp slammed him super hard on the ground by the throat. It was the only good thing in the film IMO

Big deal.....New moon had a big opening then dropped 70% in its second week, then dropped anotehr huge percent in its 3rd week to take in 15.7 million dollars. That should tell you most people dont want to see it again. While the movie Blind Side has been out for 3 weeks as well only instead dropping it rose to be the top box office performer, not bad for a football movie, And if you want to go global, 2012 had made 666 million world wide, I'll take that as a sign that people prefer the world to end than watch Twilight.

That's hundreds of millions of USD for a crappy movie. At least they're not outside trashing public property.

it might have dropped by a big percent over the last couple weeks BUT it is still making loads of money and people still wanna see it. so who really cares if it dropped down people are still paying to see it (: and it was a good movie no matter what people wanna say about it! if it be little girls or grown ass women the movie is still going to make money and STILL people are going to like it, yeah you might not like the movie buuuuut that is probably just because you don't understand it and your used to the typical vampire movies with action and killing allll the time! this is not a typical vampire movie this is more of a love story so just except it (:

Well, I guess all the teens have money to blow on a movie that is not that interesting. But, if that is what they want to do...then they will do it. Far more interesting and BETTER movies out there to see then this drivel.

Who cares if the movie doesn't appeal to you? It doesn't appeal to me, and you know what? I didn't see it. Also, I do better things than go around talking about how much I dislike Twilight.

How much has Summit made on merchandising? I'm just curious. How much did "Twilight" make in DVD and BluRay sales? I bet they've made back Pattinson's salary with the board game alone. Even if these movies don't do mega-huge sustained theater runs, Summit is still raking in the big bucks with the barbie dolls and the novelty underwear.

(I totally have to have a pair of Team Jacob panties. Watching my 14-year-old turn green from the sight of me just holding them is more than worth the price and the knowledge that Stephenie Meyer made money off of me.)

I understand what youre saying, but people will criticize just to remind people that we got a voice too. I mean everywhere you go its twilight this and twilight that, scfi, darkhorizons, rottentomatoes, cnn, foxnews, yahoo, msn, mtv, posters, music ads. I aknowledge its success, and I aknowledge the people who love it, but its just downright fun to make fun of it in the style like MST 3000. Ask yourself this why be silent join in on the fun but we'll just take potshots with a smile and no bitterness? If you can't beat them, laught at them. Besides it only takes a couple of minutes to put a post on the board.

ohhh i know people criticize haha and your right everyone has a voice, BUT i don't agree with people making fun or picking on someone because they like something. yeah those twihards are kidna crazy but it doesn't mean people need to go and say mean things about them. that was my main point. i know and understand people will criticize anything rather twilight or something the president is wearing lol! i was just a fan because i liked the books and i thought new moon was really good but i can honestly say TWILIGHT was really bad, they did a horrible job. so yes i understand criticism (:
