Watch Stan Lee read "The Night Before Xmas"

Watch Stan Lee read "The Night Before Xmas"

Think John Malkovich's bizarre Saturday Night Live reading of "The Night Before Christmas" was entertaining? Then you ain't seen nothing yet!

Kevin Smith, the stone cold comic-book fan behind Clerks who brought Stan "the Man" Lee to the screen in Mallrats, recently persuaded Spider-Man's co-creator to recite the most famous Christmas poem of all time.

Unfortunately, there's no way for us to embed the video here, but you can check it out over at Smith's site. We're sure it's the only time you'll ever hear the Clement Clarke Moore classic end with a rousing "Excelsior, True Believers!"

At least he didn't sell out the story line like he did in X-3...and yes I know, I should let it go

“…up to the housetop, his cursers, they flew…”

I just have this mental image of a whole bunch of fanboys in harnesses, attached to a sleigh, shouting dirty words at the top of their lungs while flapping their arms frantically…

Um, Mr. Lee, sir…? I think the word is ‘coursers,’ ones who course or run, either on a track or into the thick of battle. But ‘cursers’ is fun, too…
